Hello, my name is Kim Perea. This is my sixth year of teaching at Bataan Elementary. I currently teach 5th grade, along with my colleagues, Mrs. Gina Simms and Ms. Melissa Noriega.

My experience includes: 17 years as an Educational Assistant at Memorial Elementary, 9 years teaching at Columbus Elementary, and I'm in my sixth year of teaching at Bataan Elementary. I have taught 4th, 5th, and 6th grades.

My educational background includes: a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from WNMU, a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership, I am a Level III teacher, licensed by the State of New Mexico, and I hold an administrative license.

I look forward to working with all of my students this year. I love teaching! It is extremely important that students in the 5th grade know their multiplication facts. It is also important that they do their homework and study every night. In order for me to move each student forward, my students need to attend school every day.

I know that the 2020-2021 school year is going to be exceptional!
